NATIONAL AUTONOMOUS COMMUNITY ACTION WEEK #NACAW

“We Are Autonomous Community Actors”

From October 21-25, 2024, ACA organizations from across Quebec will mark the 23rd edition of National Autonomous Community Action Week (#NACAW) by asserting themselves loudly and proudly!

With the theme, “We are autonomous community actors,” this week offers an opportunity to discover the depth and breadth of the ACA movement and join us in celebrating the unique contributions that its 54,000 workers make to Quebec’s social and economic development.

They may not always be visible, but Quebec’s 4,500 autonomous community action organizations have always been present at the heart of their communities, from one end of the province to the other. For over 50 years, they have been weaving a vital social safety net and working tirelessly to build a society in which everyone’s rights are fully respected.

We’d like to thank the very talented Michèle Fog, from bête féroce, for creating this colourful and dynamic visual!

Mark your calendars, share the tools, and follow us for more updates!
